Founder

Registered Psychotherapist

Carrington, a proud Brockvillian, founded Brockville Psychotherapy to provide meaningful support to the community she has always called home.

With nearly a decade of experience, Carrington specializes in women’s mental health (ages 13+) and assisting individuals and families through challenging life transitions.

Carrington expanded her clinical expertise by earning a Level 1 Brainspotting certification to better support individuals struggling with trauma. The following year, she advanced her skill set by obtaining a Certificate in Family Mediation from Herzing College, enabling her to help families resolve conflicts and develop effective, child-centered parenting plans for separating or divorced individuals.

Her work with women and families led Carrington to pursue Couples Therapy training through the Gottman Institute, enhancing her ability to guide couples through challenges and foster healthier, more resilient relationships.

Carrington’s areas of expertise include:

  • Women’s mental health (ages 13+): anxiety, depression, self-esteem, postpartum concerns, parenting, marital support, family dynamics, domestic violence, and issues pertaining to faith & spirituality

In her free time, Carrington enjoys kayaking on the St. Lawrence River or satisfying her curiosity through documentaries and non-fiction books.
